EMILY WESLEYAN CHURCH ANNOUNCES NEW PASTOR:

FamilyFishPastor Ryan Fish will begin ministry at the Emily Wesleyan Church on August 6, 2017. The community is invited to his Installation Service on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 9 AM.

Pastor Ryan Fish and his wife Lisa are from Grant, Michigan. The Fishes have 4 young children.

Pastor Ryan was raised Wesleyan in the small community of Grant. He is a second career pastor, and is the 6th generation to work in his family’s business—L. Denton Water Well Drilling. He is a 2016 graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, and is near completion of ordination. Pastor Ryan was an Intern at Grant Wesleyan Church, his home church, where his experience and responsibilities included: pursuing Ordination, leading Sunday evening Bible studies, Sunday morning announcements and call to worship, pulpit supply at GWC as well as other local Wesleyan churches, board leader at Spring Hill Day Camp, calling on the congregation, meeting bi-weekly with his Senior Pastor  for Bible study and mentoring, church theater production, and gym leader for Pioneer Kids Club on Wed. nights.

For in the Gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ’The righteous will live by faith.’ ” Romans 1: 16-17 is Pastor Ryan’s life verse.
