Ladies Scrap and Craft

It’s time again for our 6th annual Scrap n Craft Weekend Event!

Who: any ladies who have an unfinished craft project they would like to complete.

What: A big open space with lots of tables, to bring your craft project and work on it during Friday and Saturday. We can leave our projects as they are Friday night and return Saturday morning without anyone getting into them. WIN!

Where: Emily Wesleyan Church

When: February 3rd and 4th, 2017. The time is very flexible. We will probably start Friday at approximately 3p.m. and we’ve been known to stay until 3:00a.m.! Last one out locks up! Saturday, the early birds can start whenever they are motivated, and we try to wrap the weekend up by about 6:00p.m. But last year some ladies stayed til the wee hours. We’re all about flexibility and being present in the moment! 🙂

Why: Because sometimes we just need motivation from and fellowship with other ladies! (And we like to be creative!) And many of us have little “destructacons” at our houses that get into everything we try to do!

And then there is FOOD: Yes, we have to talk about food. Two home-cooked meals will be provided (Friday night and Saturday lunch). We usually have enough leftovers and snacks to supplement any other hunger needs. We encourage everyone to bring a favorite snack and their own beverage (we provide coffee).

Cost: $25.00 This pays for your food, Make N’ Take (fun craft projects we have lined up for you to make in addition to your own craft project, if you so choose), and a table to craft away at!

As always, if finanances are a challenge for you, please let us know. We have scholarships available! 🙂 We’d rather you be present than stay home because of money!

Bring: your own project, craft equipment/needs, a snack and favorite drink, and your sense of humor. We will be laughing!
