Message from: Emily – Outing – Fifty Lakes Area Food Shelf

Greetings to Our Area Churches: Thank you for all of your support that you have provided for our Emily, Outing, Fifty Lakes, Little Pine, Ross Lake, Perry Lake and Fairfield Area Food Shelf. We are once again collecting school supplies for the food shelf children.

We are requesting to let our food shelf children’s needs be known, through your church bulletins, newsletters, and/or from word of mouth. Typical supplies that are needed are:

  • Backpacks
  • Wide line spiral notebook and narrow lined notebooks
  • 3 and 5 subject notebooks
  • #2 pencils and mechanical pencils, pink & white erasers, small pencil sharpeners
  • Eraser tops
  • Black/blue/red pens
  • Crayons
  • Washable Colored Markers both regular and dry erase markers, and black sharpies
  • Skinny colored markers
  • Highlighters
  • Colored Pencils
  • Scissors
  • Glue Sticks & glue bottles
  • Rulers-inches and centimeters
  • Reams of computer paper
  • Kleenex
  • Ziploc bags
  • large and small Germicide Wipes containers
  • Plastic Pencil boxes
  • Book covers
  • Cheap Head phones
  • Pocketed Folders – different colors
  • Plastic pocketed notebooks with center clasps
  • Scotch tape
  • Loose-leaf notebook paper wide & narrow
  • Calculators – scientific and regular
  • Pocket dictionary and Thesaurus
  • Composition notebooks
  • Bottle of correction fluid
  • 1inch – 3 ring binders
  • Subject dividers
  • Stapler & remover

Monetary donations would also be accepted and used towards the purchase of these items; please indicate that the donation is to be used for back to school supplies. The items collected will be distributed to the children through our Child Nutrition Program. We apologize for the short notice of our request, but this is another need.
